ACCOUNT SERVICE COORDINATORBROADBAND

Clearfield has two immediate, fast-track sales career opportunities as a result of the deployment of broadband infrastructure funding. These are new positions that will be the point of entry for junior members of our Sales teams. These individuals will work alongside our Inside Salespeople and Regional Territory Sales Managers. After six months of on-the-job training, candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to take on the responsibility of an Inside Salesperson.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Professionally represent Clearfield to identified markets and customers within the territory
2) Understand and communicate our corporate capabilities to clients
3) Understand Clearfield products and applications for all of our product offerings
4) Understand and communicate our unique value and be able to differentiate Clearfield from our competition
5) Ask questions, actively listen, and identify opportunities with clients and potential clients. Understand customers’ network architectures and establish relationships with clients and potential clients
6) Work alongside Clearfield product management/engineering to provide customer driven input for new product ideas
8) Effectively manage assigned territory in order to provide superior service and maximize sales revenue
9) Effectively plan travel and customer meetings in order maximize time and number of meetings
12) Work closely with Inside and Outside team members to develop team approach to territory

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong aptitude to learn new technologies and utilize project management applications.
• Ability to engage customers and manage customer expectations.
• Prefer combination of technical, sales, and business education and related experience.
• Experience with Microsoft platform applications

PRODUCT MANAGERBROADBAND

Clearfield has an opportunity in product management as a result of our growing product line and the deployment of broadband infrastructure funding. These are new positions that will work alongside our engineering, design and sales teams to manage simultaneous customer product lines from product release to end of life. Focus is on tactical execution from definition through successful release and transfe to operations in a manner that meets or exceeds company expectations for customer service and profitability.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manages product life cycle for optical components and Access products for broadband networks from release to end of life.
2. Facilitate product rollout commitments to the sales organization and highlight issues that may cause schedule slip.
3. Ensure that Marketing requirements and objectives for the program are being addressed across all functional areas
4. After Market:
• Engage customers and manage customer expectations
• Transfer customer, sales, and marketing input into action items and follow through accordingly
• Identify and assist in implementing cost reductions.
• Maintain knowledge of industry and market developments and be alert to competitive information
• Recommend potential product enhancements
• Identify and recommend action plan to manage EOL issues

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Marketing, manufacturing, purchasing, product management, and P&L experience within the telecommunications industry.
• Experience with formal Product Lifecycle methodologies, in support of ISO compliance.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Experience engaging customers and managing customer expectations.
• Strong aptitude to learn new technologies and utilize project management applications.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines

Sales Operations Manager

POSITION OBJECTIVE
Enable sales productivity, efficiency and effectiveness by developing and implementing processes that help the team stay focused on sales, marketing and services execution.

POSITION DUTIES

1. Develop the technical resources necessary to support internal/external customers to achieve sales penetration, growth and retention goals.
• Monitor sales team’s progress and performance against plans and objectives as established by Chief Operating Officer
• Define the interactions and dependencies of all Technical Sales operational processes within the organization and serve as the project manager to ensure processes are aligned with other departments/processes including technical sales and support engineers, sales force, product management, design, IT and Operations.
• Develop platform for sharing best practices within Sales team as well as cross-functionally using up to date knowledge management tools (e.g. wikis, SharePoint).
• Assist in the development of programs to drive growth, account penetration and customer retention.
• Monitor and track competitive pricing information. Maintain win/loss reports.
• Assist Product Management in organizing company-wide sales training and education to ensure readiness for product launches and ensure that sales training needs are identified on an on-going basis

2. Hire, train, mentor and deploy junior Account Sales Coordinators to develop technical sales competency to fulfill future Inside Sales staffing needs.

3. Resolve sales operation administrative issues to assure peak productivity and customer service.
• Assist in coordinating all RFP responses and support the sales organization in responding to client requests.
• Administer commission review, point of sale calculations, etc.

4. Oversee the administration and operation of CRM and other sales technologies
• Ensure accurate and timely information is being entered and maintained by the sales staff.
• Develop and conduct timely and ongoing trainings among the sales staff to ensure optimum coordination of the tool.
• Coordinate with IT Liaison to identify changes in business processes that require new or updated technology applications to enable productivity improvements.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
• Five plus years experience in sales operations required
• High attention to detail and quality of work; strong analytical and project management skills
• Strong track record of providing excellent operational support to a team of sales professionals
• Ability to function independently and effectively during times of change and growth
• Experience with a startup department a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills
