3M’s Communications Markets Division adds Clearfield Fiber Management Platform to Product Line Offering
LONDON, ONTARIO (March 10, 2009) 3M Canada is pleased to announce the signing of a Canadian exclusive distribution agreement with Clearfield, Inc. of Plymouth, Minnesota.
The Master Distribution Agreement gives 3M exclusive Canadian rights to provide Clearfield’s extensive range of fiber optic management products alongside 3M’s extensive portfolio of connectivity and fiber apparatus products.
Key to 3M Canada’s decision to offer Clearfield products to its customer base, is the modular design of the 12-port Clearview Cassette which is an easily adaptable module for multiple application environments.
“We have identified fiber distribution as an important segment of our product offering and our agreement with Clearfield will ensure that our customers have access to the industry’s most modular, scalable product offering for all ‘Fiber to the X’ (FTTx) applications,” said Stephen Sookdeo, Market Manager, 3M Canada Communications Markets Division.
