FieldSmart Platform Enables Configuration Flexibility
MINNEAPOLIS (March 31, 2009)—Clearfield, Inc. (Nasdaq:CLFD) announced today another addition to the FieldSmart line of optical components. Clearfield, who has led the industry with ruggedized packaging to enable splitter performance in extreme weather environments of 85C to -55C, has repackaged the splitters used in its outside plant PON cabinets, into an LGX footprint for alternative applications. This product is available pre-terminated with a connector of choice.
This announcement extends Clearfield’s extensive offering of optical components including FBT and planar splitters, WDM and DWDM components in a wide range of split ratios, and component packaging including rack-mount, LGX and chassis-styles.
