Staying Busy During the Slowdown
Deployments may have slowed due to economic conditions and regulatory uncertainty, but they have by no means come to a halt. Here’s a bumper crop of new deployers, new projects, and enhancements to existing projects.
As we wait for clarification of the broadband stimulus rules, rumors are swirling about the “anti-stimulus” effect of this regulatory uncertainty. Supposedly, providers everywhere are putting fiber-to-the-home projects on hold until they find out whether they will be eligible for ARRA funding.
