Attenuators
Fiber optic attenuators are designed to introduce a specific amount of signal loss into an optical circuit. These products provide attenuation at a mated pair connection and are used for signal budgeting and power equalization. Clearfield provides both build-out and variable optical attenuators (VOAs). VOAs provide the ability to adjust the amount of attenuation to desired levels in a fiber circuit.

- Build-out or in-line variations provide necessary attenuation at network interconnect
- Connector interface styles include ST, SC, FC, LC, LC APC, SC APC, and FC APC
- 1-20, 25 and 30dB variable attenuators, attenuation values clearly marked for easy identification
- VOAs available in patchcord construction with variable lengths
- Dual-bandwidth 1310/1550 supported
- All industry standard connectors supported
- Telcordia compliant to GR-910 Core and GR-1221 Core
- Low PDL
- Metal ion-duped fiber
