Clearfield’s CraftSmart product line provides physical fiber protection for Clearview Multiplied and Landed products completing and delivering a turnkey passive solution from the central office/head-end to the customer premise. The CraftSmart Fiber Protection Vaults (FPV) provide the most cost-effective thermoplastic enclosures in the industry — meeting and exceeding the industry standards for strength, reliability, and environmental concerns.
CraftSmart FPV’s are designed and qualified to Telcordia’s GR902-CORE and comply to the applicable elements of ANSI/SCTE 77 2002, for greenbelt placement. Besides traditional uses of splice case and OSP cable storage, the FPV’s can also mount, using a swing-up hinge, the FieldSmart SCD Case for easy below-grade access and discrete blind storage when not in use. The FPV’s high rib design greatly enhance the cover and sidewall load-bearing capabilities which exceed the standard. Custom lid options are also available for a variety of environments. We are proud to offer the FPV in three industry standard sizes — 1730, 2436 and 3048.
