With the Clearview Cassette™ at its heart, a FieldSmart Fiber Distribution System (FDS) from Clearfield provides modular construction for scalable capacity.

By utilizing the Clearview Cassette, service providers can integrate patch only, patch & splice, as well as optical component modules into the same chassis, allowing plug & play integration based upon the configuration requirements of the application.

Available in four sizes to fit any requirement, the FieldSmart FDS fully supports a wide range of configurations, densities, connectors and adapter options.

Ranging from 24 ports in a 1RU panel to an industry-leading 288 ports in 11 inches, FieldSmart maximizes your use of real estate on the frame. With a completely symmetrical product design, route diversity is maximized, minimizing the risk of cable pile up.

Using Clearview, FieldSmart revolutionizes on-frame splicing, providing patch & splice support inside of the cassette – again leading the industry in density, as the system supports a whopping 1728 ports of on-frame patch & splice. (For those environments where off-frame splicing or on-frame splicing within a separate splice deck is preferred, Clearfield also provides non-integrated configurations.)

Because FieldSmart was designed with the field-engineer in mind, port density does not come at the expense of slack storage. The rear cover of the panel also doubles as the slack storage basket.

The FieldSmart Fiber Distribution System (FDS) delivers advanced cable management features with easy access. Its high circuit density and modular construction allow your capital expenses to stay in line with your subscriber revenues.
